What’s Included

Seven monthly treatments cover the active Georgia mosquito season from May through October. Each visit treats the breeding sites and resting areas mosquitoes actually use: standing water in gutters, plant saucers, low-drainage yard corners, dense foliage, and the underside of decks and porches.

Treatment uses scientifically formulated insect growth regulators to disrupt mosquitoes’ breeding and life cycles, which is what separates real mosquito control from a one-time spray. Adult mosquitoes get knocked down on each visit; the IGR keeps the next wave from emerging.

The monthly cycle is timed to Athens-area mosquito biology. Pre-season pressure builds in late April, peaks in July and August, and tapers through September. The $50/month rate is per acre. Most Athens-area residential lots run between a quarter-acre and one full acre, which falls within the single-acre rate. Larger properties (rural lots in Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Madison counties; multi-acre estates; commercial lots) are quoted by the acre during the free inspection.

Yard layout also matters. Heavily wooded lots with dense underbrush hold more breeding sites than open, well-drained yards, so technicians spend more time per treatment.
